Donation and Refund Policy

Donations

Donations and fundraiser contributions support the charitable work of Up With Downs. Gifts are processed securely through Stripe and are generally final once completed.

Refund requests

If a gift was made in error, duplicated, or submitted without authorization, contact Up With Downs promptly with the donor name, date, amount, and transaction information. Refund requests are reviewed individually. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing and bank posting times may vary.

Events and sponsorships

Event registration and sponsorship refund eligibility may depend on commitments already made for venues, shirts, supplies, publicity, or other benefits. Cancelling an event registration does not automatically issue a refund. Contact us as soon as possible; any approved refund will be documented and processed through the original payment method.

Tax information

Up With Downs provides receipts showing the amount received and, when applicable, separates event fees from optional donations. A payment is tax-deductible only to the extent permitted by law. Registration fees, sponsorship benefits, merchandise, or other goods and services may reduce or eliminate the deductible portion. Please retain your receipt and consult a qualified tax adviser regarding your individual circumstances.

Charge disputes

Please contact Up With Downs before initiating a charge dispute so we can investigate and help resolve the issue promptly.
